A tough time in my life
King of Queens was an American sitcom that aired on CBS from 1998 to 2007. The show was created by Michael J. Weithorn and David Litt, and it starred Kevin James, Leah Remini, and Jerry Stiller. The show was set in Queens, New York, and revolved around the lives of Doug and Carrie Heffernan, a working-class couple. I never watched the King of Queens when it first aired, but about two years ago I was going through a lot in my life. I was under a great deal of stress about my job closing down and having to relocate to a different job. On top of that I was suffering from a bulged disc in my lower spine. On top of severe pain, I was dealing with a lot of numbness in the lower extremities. These two things compounded to where I wasn't just dealing with anxiety on a huge scale, I actually felt like I was losing my mind. A mental breakdown.
